Terra Mítica Benidorm Kicks Off the 2025 Season with New Attractions and Spectacular Shows.
Terra Mítica, the renowned Mediterranean-themed amusement park in Benidorm, officially opens its gates for the 2025 season, on Friday the 16th of May, marking its 25th anniversary with exciting new attractions and entertainment offerings.
To commemorate its 25th anniversary, Terra Mítica introduces a new live show featuring the infamous pirate Barbarroja, promising an entertaining performance, with special effects and humor.
Spanning five distinct themed zones—Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and The Islands—Terra Mítica offers visitors a journey through ancient civilizations with a blend of thrilling rides, family-friendly attractions, and immersive shows.
The Theme Park's opening hours vary depending on the season. In low Season (May 16 – June 27; September 13 – October 26), the theme park is open from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with access to the areas of Egypt, Greece, and Rome. In High Season (June 28 – September 7), the park is open from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM with full access to all five zones, including Iberia and The Islands.
There are various attractions to suit all the family. In the area of Egypt, you will find the Falls of the Nile: A water roller coaster featuring two drops, including a backward descent, ensuring a refreshing splash!
The Akuatiti: A milder version of the Nile ride, suitable for younger visitors.
The Infinnito: A 100-meter gyro tower offering panoramic views of the park and the Mediterranean coast.
In Greece, discover the SynKope: A giant rotating disk that swings riders at high speeds, reaching up to 90 km/h.
The Titánide: A suspended roller coaster with multiple inversions and speeds up to 100 km/h.
The Labyrinth of the Minotaur: An interactive dark ride where guests use laser guns to battle mythological creatures .
In Rome, you can experience the emotion of the Flight of the Phoenix: A 54-meter free-fall tower that plunges riders at 100 km/h in under three seconds.
The Inferno: A spinning roller coaster that twists riders in multiple directions at speeds of 60 km/h .
The Tornado: An 80-meter-tall tower ride with suspended swings offering breathtaking views.
Iberia presents two new water slides for 2025, designed for children and teenagers, and expanding the park's aquatic offerings by 2,000 square meters.
Also in Iberia is Anilus: A swinging boat ride designed for younger visitors.
The Islands include, La Cólera de Akiles (The Rage of Achilles): A turbulent ride simulating a stormy sea voyage, inspired by Greek mythology.
